“9” HD Trailer →
“Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton (The Corpse Bride, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory) and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Nightwatch) join forces to produce wunderkind director Shane Acker’s distinctively original and thrilling tale.” A feature-length version of Acker’s original short, this looks to be very good.

“Google Blog Search went from being incredibly useful to utterly useless for me.”
– John Gruber on the changes to Google Blog Search that result in all links (including sidebar and footer links) being returned as new blog content. Same result here, the service is pretty much useless, especially for our work-related searches.

jQuery Delay →
A tiny plugin to add a delay between jQuery functions. In the past I’ve resorted to JavaScript’s setTimeout method, or faked a delay using jQuery’s animate method with identical start and end values. This might be better.

Time tracking rethought, by Amy Hoy and Thomas Fuchs et al. Also just launched, with a free 30-day trial. From the manifesto: We’re freelancers, consultants, and rogue agents, too. We saw where other software let us down and we built freckle in exactly the opposite way.

– Tom Chapman is justifiably uneasy about the UK’s continued erosion of civil liberties. The irony of not even having kept track of how many CCTV cameras have been installed is hilarious.
