Liz Danzico’s beautiful new site, designed by Jason Santa Maria, is running on Tumblr. This is a great example of text as interface, and shows what can be done with a little clever CSS, for example the larger introductory paragraph on longer text posts, and the occasional notes which float into the left margin of the body copy. Jason has used Czech type designer David Březina’s Skolar typeface (via Typekit), one of my favourites from the service (and the one I’m also using for body copy here).
