Wired’s roundup of films set for release in 2009 has the big names (Where the Wild Things Are, Star Trek, Wolverine, Watchmen, Terminator: Salvation, Avatar) and a few that have flown somewhat under the radar, including Michael Mann’s Public Enemies (Johnny Depp as depression-era bank robber John Dillinger, Christian Bale), Richard Kelly’s The Box (Cameron Diaz, James Marsden, scored by members of Arcade Fire), and Soderbergh’s The Informant (Matt Damon as agri-business whistle blower).
