Jon Hicks writes about his largest icon assignment to date, the creation of more than 280 icons for Linotype’s Font Explorer X, which has just gone from free to paid. He details his process in Illustrator to create the initial vector art, and the subsequent task of tidying up the smaller sizes used in the app’s interface.
