“Use it to find the photography you like using the simple idea that people whose work you like, probably like stuff you’ll like. You start with a set of pictures — if you authenticate, it’ll use 20 of your last 100 favorites — otherwise it’ll start with somebody’s favorites. Click any picture to load more.” Great idea, works beautifully. (via Jarred Bishop)

Birdbrain for iPhone is on sale in the App Store. It tracks changes in and provides stats over time for your Twitter friends and followers, and is designed to be complementary to your favourite mobile Twitter client. I helped out on the UI design, and the app’s icon was created by the estimable Andrew Archer. Introductory pricing of US$1.99 for launch. If you’re a fan of Garrett Murray’s Ego and obsessed with all things Twitter, Birdbrain might be for you.

I had a funny joke about design but the client revised all the funniness out of it.

Web app by Poeks that provides a list for any Twitter account of the users they most often favourite. Seems I’m a big fan of the Gruber family. Would be better if it linked to the favourites from each person on the list too. (via John Gruber)
